Braemar Townhouse Report:  July-August 2013

Listing Agent was Chris Ann Cleland, Long & Foster REALTORS®, 703-402-0037What a gorgeous weekend to have in the middle of September.  Fall is here and I’m loving it.  Of course, before we id farewell to sun and fun of summer, we have a chance to look back and see how Braemar townhouse values fared during the last two months of the season.  For the purposes of this report, a townhouse is attached on two sides and has a back yard.

There were ten resales of Braemar townhouses in July and August.  The high sold price was $300,000 and the low sold price was $245,000.  The average of all nine give us our new average market value of Braemar townhouses of $278,640. That’s nearly a 2% increase in value since last report and over a 6.5% increase since last year.  Those are great numbers to see.
