Just Sold: Another Braemar Carriage Home
On May 11th (2014) this Norwood model in the Tartan Hills Village West sub-association of Braemar hit the market for sale, priced at $384,500. With three finished levels, three bedrooms, three and a half bathrooms and the laundry room/mud room that many Norwood original owners opted not to get, this home had a lot to offer. I personally thought the covered front porch, deck, corner lot and side entry detached garage were also major pluses.
In terms of other updates, there weren’t a lot of fancy finishes, though there were hardwood floors on the main level. One practical update that I thought was smart was updating the sink to a single, deep basin sink with an oiled bronze faucet. Divided sinks are no longer in demand.
Within seven days, we had an offer. It took the Buyers and Sellers two days to come to complete agreement on contract terms, but in the end everyone was happy.
This Norwood Carriage home in Braemar sold for full list price of $384,500 on June 20th (2014.) Sellers generously helped the Buyers with $5,300 in closing cost assistance. And in case you were wondering, this is now the highest sales price for a Norwood model since August 2007. That title had been held by the Norwood I sold in January 2014, but this one has bested it. Prices are are the rise in Braemar.
