Another Single Family Home in Braemar SOLD!
The 2019 Bristow real estate market has definitely been favoring sellers. Since the beginning of the year, our market has not enough homes to meet demand. Usually, demand wanes as we enter summer. That’s because most folks are focused on summer vacation once the kids get out of school. Not so this year.
When I first met with the seller of 12171 Hopper Lane, I really was worried about their idea of ideal timing. The wanted to list in July. As I said, that tends to be the vacation zone. They were able to get their ducks in a row and target a mid-June list date. The property was perfectly prepped for market. New, neutral paint throughout, brand new carpet installed and staging done to show the home in its absolute best light.
The day before the photographer was scheduled, my real estate network churned up a buyer’s agent who wanted a preview of the home. Actually, she wanted a preview of two of my upcoming Braemar listings. It just so happens, this Braemar listing was the one that fit and her buyer made my sellers an offer they couldn’t refuse.
My sellers were thrilled. It was as easy as pie. They didn’t have to deal with showing after showing and day after day of making sure the house was immaculate. Nope. One and done was the story here. They had a ratified contract in time to go on their house hunting trip out west.
The settlement took place today, July 16, 2019. The buyers and sellers got along famously, and turns out that Mr. Seller and Mr. Buyer work on different ends of the same industry. This deal was meant to be. And it is a testament to having a strong network of local agents. That doesn’t just benefit buyers, but sellers as well.
Stay tuned for more great Braemar listings. Since 2005, No One Knows Braemar Better!
